Although the resort is better suited for the laid-back traveller who want to spend their time indoors, there are quite a few local attractions around the town that merit a visit as well. Stop at Mansa Devi, which is located 20 kms (drive time: 30 minutes) from the resort. After visiting the temple, you can also opt for a visit to the Chhatbir Zoo which is 3 kms (drive time: 5 minutes) from the resort or enjoy some downtime at the Sukhna lake which is located 19 kms(drive time 34 mins) away.  Don’t forget to pack a picnic from the resort to enjoy at the lake, along with some boating.

  If you have more time, you can also check out the Rock Gardens which is 22. 7 kms away (drive time: 40 minutes) and Manauli Fort, which is only 12 kms from the resort. One of the few forts to be build of bricks as opposed to stone, this place is a dying testament to an era gone by. It’s offbeat and truly unique, which is why it totally merits a visit.
